Secrets undersea is a dive into the past, when the earth was covered in water and over the course of millions of years it has been creating layers and layers of small and big secrets yet to be discovered.

Quadraphonic sound

Quadraphonic Sound or 4.0 Sound, is a surround sound system based on four tracks reproduced by four independent speakers placed in the corners of a room. It began to be commercialized in the sixties, although with music it wasn’t very successful, it did develop and evolve for cinema, currently being called surround sound or atmos.

These two cassettes are recorded in a way that they have to be heard at the same time, this means you’ll need two pieces of equipment (cassette deck, walkman, radio cassette…) to be able to listen to it in the most similar way to surround sound (quadraphonic). You’ll have to synchronize them manually, whenever you can of course, although with the help of someone it is always much better.

And why all this?

It all came from an idea more than 25 years ago and I believed that this year would be the perfect time to develop it.
We are immersed in a new era called the fourth industrial era or 4.0, we don’t know exactly where it will lead us, but everything seems to indicate that it’s an inevitable and completely uncertain path...
Apart from coinciding elements such as 4.0 sound and this new moment for humanity, as a curious fact, adding the digits of the year 2020 gives us 40 (4.0 quadraphonic sound) as a result. It seems that everything fits right?
